Group CSR Manager
Losberger De Boer is seeking a proactive Group CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Manager, a new position on group level in a multinational organisation that is transitioning to CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance.

Until now, CSR has been a shared responsibility of many different disciplines within Losberger De Boer, with Group Marketing coordinating the company’s CSR ratings (Ecovadis and CCF) and CSRD activities in cooperation with an external ESG agency.
In order to truly embed CSR in the organisation, solidify the CSR governance structure and ensure CSRD Compliance, we are seeking an experienced Group CSR Manager to manage the company’s CSR strategy, activities and data (including CCF and Ecovadis), to join the CSRD implementation project and ensure compliance with the CSRD and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) from 2025 onward.
This new role will involve coordinating, developing and improving CSR procedures and related policies, measures, KPI’s, and metrics across all business units. The CSR Manager will be responsible for aligning the company’s sustainability efforts with regulatory requirements, including CSRD and ESRS, while driving long-term sustainability performance and fostering a culture of corporate responsibility.
Alkmaar, The Netherlands, is the headoffice of Losberger De Boer’s rental division and base to the group’s CEO, the Group Marketing department, and the new Group CSR Manager. The Group CSR Manager will report formally to the CEO and be based out of Alkmaar, the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of the company’s CSR strategy and activities, ensuring full compliance with CSRD and ESRS requirements and that Losberger De Boer meets its own CSR objectives.
- Monitor and report on the company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities and performance, including for Ecovadis and CCF, ensuring ongoing compliance with CSRD and ESRS standards and our own CSR objectives.
- Develop and improve governance structures and frameworks to manage CSR initiatives and ensure reporting aligns with CSRD and ESRS regulations and Losberger De Boer’s own CSR objectives.
- Develop and manage Group CSR policies, procedures, and sustainability performance indicators, ensuring they meet the standards set by the CSRD and ESRS and Losberger De Boer’s own CSR objectives.
- Support other departments in improving and developing their policies, procedures, and sustainability performance indicators, ensuring they meet the standards set by the CSRD and ESRS and Losberger De Boer’s own CSR objectives.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of sustainability reports in accordance with ESRS, ensuring transparency and compliance with all regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, finance, HR, operations and marketing) to integrate CSR goals into broader business objectives and ensure alignment with CSRD and ESRS mandates and Losberger De Boer’s own CSR objectives.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and industry bodies, to stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure the company’s reporting remains compliant.
- Identify opportunities to improve sustainability practices, enhance resource efficiency, and drive positive social and environmental impact.
- Foster a culture of sustainability and corporate responsibility throughout the organization, aligning employees with the company’s CSR objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Business and Innovation, or a related field, or comparable work experience at a similar level.
- 5-7 years of experience in CSR, sustainability, ESG roles or quality management systems such as ISO
- Experience, strong familiarity, or willingness to learn CSRD and ESRS requirements.
- Proven track record in sustainability reporting or management system reporting and ensuring alignment with global system standards.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to indirectly manage cross-functional teams and manage complex regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages, especially German, are a plus.
