Losberger De Boer Delivers VIP Area for Bundesliga Club
“Football is like chess, just without the dice”—this well-known “quote” from former German football player Lukas Podolski humorously reflects the blend of tactics, strategy, and chance in Germany’s favorite sport. The same principles apply to the successful execution of the new VIP area that Losberger De Boer created for VfB Stuttgart.

Game Rules and Kick-off
In May 2022, Losberger De Boer's expert team began constructing an impressive 40 × 60-meter main tent right next to Stuttgart’s Mercedes-Benz Arena. This spatial marvel was complemented by an 8 × 40-meter kitchen tent, as well as various walkways and passages, which will provide a functional and secure environment for many high-profile events in the future.
The tents were not only notable for their spaciousness but also for their premium interior features. Each temporary structure was upgraded with luxury elements such as black ceiling liners, premium sanitary containers, and the latest climate control and heating technology. To ensure full preparedness, the temporary structure, which was already fire-resistant, was also equipped with standard and emergency lighting.
A dedicated mobile roadway was constructed specifically for catering, allowing delivery vehicles to drive as close to the building as possible without damaging the lawn. Additionally, a complex drainage system for rain and wastewater was implemented. The catering area was further optimized with hygiene PVC flooring, custom partitions, and special sloped access points.
Teamwork for Victory
Just like in football, the right strategy and team spirit resulted in an outcome that more than meets VfB Stuttgart’s high standards, with the temporary structure set to remain until its scheduled dismantling in January 2024. The successful outcome was largely due to the constructive collaboration between VfB’s building management, the responsible architectural firm, Losberger De Boer’s project management, and all other stakeholders involved (including technical services, exhibition construction, landscaping, electronics, and catering) throughout every phase of the project.
