Losberger De Boer delivers passenger terminal for cruise port

We delivered two key facilities to Faxaports: a passenger check-in terminal, and a luggage handling facility. On the docks, we built two large structures using two 20x50 and 20x80 m long Alu Halls. We reinforced them to be able to handle the harsh arctic climate, where snowfall and strong winds are relatively common.

Thanks to our lightweight yet extremely sturdy modular construction system, we were able to deal with the challenge of building on the dock itself, right next to the water. Both the passenger check-in and the luggage handling facility will be operational from May until September. After that, they will be dismantled and stored, to be rebuilt next year.
