Losberger De Boer is pleased to announce the release of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report for 2023, published on June 28, 2024. This year's CSR report, reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices under our "Covering Tomorrow" initiative.

A Year of Steady Progress and Recognition

2023 has been a year of meaningful progress for Losberger De Boer. We are honoured to have been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, recognizing our efforts in advancing our sustainability goals. Key highlights from the CSR Report 2023

  1. Sustainable Operations: We have made notable strides in reducing our environmental impact. Our initiatives to minimize paper usage have led to a significant reduction already. Furthermore, our focus on green energy has seen the introduction of solar panels in our rental structures and permanent buildings, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint.
  2. Carbon Footprint Insights: In 2023, we calculated our Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) for the first time, over 2022. Our findings showed that 96% of our emissions are Scope 3, primarily from purchased goods and services. We are committed to collaborating with our suppliers to further reduce these emissions.
  3. Sustainable Procurement: Our procurement strategies play a critical role in our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. We have established a Supplier Code of Conduct and regularly audit our procurement processes to ensure they meet our sustainability standards.
  4. Employee and Community Engagement: Our employees are integral to our CSR efforts. We have launched various programs to promote well-being, personal development, and sustainable practices within our workforce. Additionally, our community initiatives, such as reducing single-use plastics and encouraging public transportation, reflect our broader commitment to societal impact.

 

Looking Ahead

As we move into 2024, Losberger De Boer aims to further integrate sustainability into our business operations. Our plans include preparing for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), enhancing our ESG programs, and continuing to innovate in our modular space solutions.
